Grrr.

I like computers, but when they stop functioning, I'm at a loss.

I got a brand new Dell studio running Win 7. Every time I try to look at something on youtube, my browser crashes (doesn't matter if its IE or Firefox). I've tried clearing my history and cookies, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash, and disabling java.  I've even installed an old version of Flash to see if there was a problem there. Nothing. And this is a very recent problem because I was watching something on youtube sucessfully last week.

I've been searching around on the net and haven't seen anything about this. Anybody have a good idea?

TIA

EDIT
allanh  walked me through a fix on the phone. He's a bloody genius!

it does sound like a flash issue. do you have the same problem with other flash sites or only with youtube? long shot, but try deleting your flash cookies as well as your browser cookies.
